As the man brushed his teeth, he began idly to examine the back of the toothpaste tube. The American Dental Association seal was there, also a reference to sodium fluoride, and the not-exactly-earthshaking advice, “For best results, squeeze from the bottom and flatten it as you go up. ” No surprises there. Then as he got to his lower molars, he saw this: “Questions? Comments? Please call toll-free 1-800-468-6502.”
