Toll Free Numbers in Tax Season

Tax season is in full swing and even though we have a couple of extra days this year to file our returns, time is short. The federal government and tax assistance businesses nationwide are using toll free phone numbers to help citizens prepare and file their tax returns. Just two weeks left!

New Toll Free Numbers Every Day

New toll free telephone numbers are popping up every day–this week new numbers have been advertised to help California’s elderly, to turn in gold, (at its highest value in years) and for small businesses nationwide. Subscribers are recognizing that the new 855 toll free numbers are a valuable commodity because there are so many combinations. These new 855 series numbers can easily  be matched with a domain name or a company slogan.

855 Numbers Showing Up All Over

The 855 toll free telephone numbers are popping up all over in ads, on television and in public service notices. Only six months after their release, they are in full swing. Before long, there should be some movement on releasing the 844 numbers. We will keep you posted.

855 Numbers Going Fast; But Supplies Still Ample

We have been receiving inquiries about the remaining availability of the 855 toll free area code numbers. We can assure you all that there are ample supplies left, however they are being taken very quickly. So, if you would like a new 855 number, act fast. It could be a year or more before the new 844 numbers are released. Get the 855s now while there are a variety of options.

More on Spring Break Toll Free

Spring break is in full swing and, as we predicted last week, we are getting reports that 1-800 toll free travel phone numbers are being used more frequently than ever before–and this includes the new 855 toll free telephone numbers related to travel. The travel industry has scooped up many of the new 855 area code numbers to connect travelers to hotel and transportation services.

St. Pats and Toll Free

Happy St Patrick’s Day from SMSGOV. These types of holidays may not mean much to many people but generate big revenue for companies all over the United States. People celebrate and restaurants, bars and at parades. Travel increases this week as people travel to huge parades in large cities nationwide and to get there, they use 1-800 numbers to make arrangements. Some parade committees get short-term 1-800 numbers for callers to receive information on parade routes, services and parking.

Spring Break Toll Free

Traditionally this time of year we hear of a surge in the use of travel toll free telephone numbers as colleges students make last minute plans for spring break, this week and next. The travel industry and toll free service have a longstanding relationship that we expect will continue to grow and expand.

1-800-Red-Cross Tsunami Efforts

The American Red Cross is already moving ahead to help in Tsunami torn areas from Japan through the South Pacific and to Hawaii if necessary. The Red Cross number is 1-800-RED-CROSS to volunteer or to donate.
