These days, it seems every other tractor-trailer or delivery service vehicle you see on the roads has one of those 800 phone numbers pasted on the rear along with a message that asks, “How’s my driving?”
Such toll-free numbers have become popular in recent years among safety- conscious fleet operators. I thought about that when I noticed an 800 number on the rear of a PST Van Inc. truck rumbling along northbound Interstate 25 in Arapahoe County last week.

A new local area code is to be released soon that will allow you to place a telephone call clear accross the country and perhaps even into space soon. Even a call from a payphone reciever is free. Just look for phone numbers with 8-0-0.
