1-800 Number to Pay for Parking

As of this week, some motorists will have an easier time parking with the help of a 1-800 telephone number!

Drivers in Washington D.C. can now use their mobile phones to pay for parking at all of the District’s approximately 17,000 on-street metered spaces.  Motorists use an app or a toll-free phone call to pay to park. There is a small fee for each transaction, which covers the credit card processing and other program costs. Parking enforcement officers will get the information on the payments in real time on their handheld devices. Amazing how we use toll free numbers these days, isn’t it?

New Domains in 2012; New World of Marketing

With the announcement that new domain names will be allowed next January–we no longer have to stick with .com or .org etc–it reminds us how this will open up a whole new world of advertising and marketing options, in a similar way that new toll free telephone area codes open up telecommunications marketing possibilities. The new domains will allow for example, IBM to end their site name with .IBM. (www. technology.ibm for example….) We agree that giving more options to businesses and to the consumer will help all types of companies.

2011 Winter Toll Free Numbers

With snow emergencies this winter hitting nationwide, and as far south as Atlanta and Dallas, 1-800 numbers have been instituted in most cities, and counties throughout the united States to help residents deal with weather-related emergencies. Municipal toll free phone numbers are nothing new, but they have grown in number and in use over the past year or so as governments provide free communication for assistance and updates.

Did You See All The Toll Free in Ads During Last Night’s Game?

The 50 million viewers of the Super Bowl last night saw dozens of commercials featuring 1-800 numbers. The game is secondary to many viewers who enjoy watching the creative advertising. The lesson can be handed down from these giant corporations and their Madison Avenue ad executives–toll free phone service works and can be used in conjunction with all ads and promotions to increase business.

Your Chance is Now To Get 855

After years of dealing with a depleted stock, toll free telephone numbers are now bolstered, thanks to the release of the new 855 toll free area code numbers. But the choice numbers are going quickly so once again the supply is diminishing. With at least a year to wait for the new 844 numbers, the chance is now to get a premium 855 toll free number. Before long, the 855 numbers will, too, be in short supply.

855 Area Code Could Be Launched Tomorrow

If reports are accurate, the new 855 toll area code numbers could be released as early as tomorrow. Be prepared and use an established toll free service provider. Get your ideal custom number ready to launch by speaking with a provider in advance. There are millions of new phone number combinations with each area code so there will be ample new options. We will keep you posted.

Swift Release Of 855 Numbers Necessary

The popularity of 1-800 numbers is surpassing that of local phone numbers at rates exceeding industry expectations.
Toll free service has increased at such a fast pace that the supply of available 1-800 numbers is at an all-time low. According to the Federal Communications Commission 1-800, 888, 877 and 866 numbers are increasingly popular for businesses and for personal use. And that is why we continue to lobby for the swift release of the new pool of toll free numbers–the 855 area code numbers.

Toll Free Helps Employment Recruiters

With the economy rebounding, corporations and professional employment recruiters are looking to hire en masse. And they are beginning to use toll free phone numbers to attract qualified applicants. For example, Timesjobs.com has launched an initiative- DialBPOJobs–a voice based call-in service which allows Business Process Outsourcing companies which employ telemarketers or tele-support service operators, to screen applicants. Applicants call a toll free phone number 1-800-3000-3003. This is another way that toll free service is helping both big corporations and people looking for work.

Hollywood and Bollywood Announce Toll Free To Combat Piracy

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that movie moguls in both Hollywood and Bollywood are joining forces to fight movie piracy, using a toll free telephone number. The recently formed group between Hollywood and Bollywood to battle piracy will now be known as the Alliance Against Copyright Theft, and this week announced a toll free anti-piracy hotline. The  AACT will launch the toll free hotline to report piracy. The anti-piracy hotline will allow people to register their piracy complaints without revealing their identity by calling the toll free phone number.

Consumers Use Toll Free To Get Rebates

Consumers rejected for appliance rebates are still trying to understand why their Energy Star model numbers were listed as invalid. Officials say that some of the people who got those error messages shouldn’t have. Officials estimate that about 20 percent of the thousands who have applied for rebates since the program began on March 26 have received postcards saying their paperwork was invalid or incomplete. Others were returned for not sending in an original receipt or a proof-of-recycling form. For valid rebate info, call the toll free rebate hotline: 1-888-686-8896.
